Alexandra Rose • August Candle Artist
Alexandra Rose is a skilled artist and fabricator specializing in metal arts. They are currently undertaking a two-year foundry apprenticeship at The Metal Museum in Memphis, TN, beginning in July 2025. Previously, Rose was an Artist-in-Residence at Sloss Furnaces, where they were actively involved in iron pouring, taught various workshops, and exhibited their work, including a solo show. Their diverse experience also includes working at Artworks Foundry as a Production Assistant and serving on the Steering Committee for the National Conference for Cast Iron Art and Practices. Rose holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Institute of American Indian Arts, with an emphasis on bronze casting.
