The Art: The Abstract Cityscapes Art Candle Series where the essence of urban life meets the art of scent. This series explores the essence of city life through the lens of abstraction, where the energy and movement of the city are captured in minimalist, geometric forms. This limited-edition collection draws inspiration from the dynamic rhythms of city skylines, without literal representation, offering an interpretation of the city's pulse through bold, abstract patterns and subtle earthly colors. Each candle becomes a visual and sensory expression of the city’s spirit—fluid, evolving, and ever-changing.
I love creating abstract pieces and have a strong attraction to things from the old world—whether it's old movies, books, or anything from the 1800s. I just adore it. So when I decided to paint one day and the scene began to take shape as an old street in England or New York from that time period, I went with it, and these pieces emerged. They are very special to me personally, and I love creating them and seeing how others envision different cities coming to life through them.
The Candle: Infused with the refined scent of Leather and Linen, these candles provide a sensory experience that blends sophistication with warmth. The rich, earthy notes of leather combine seamlessly with the light, airy scent of linen, evoking an atmosphere that is both grounding and uplifting. The contrast of smooth leather and soft linen mirrors the complex harmony of city life—rough yet refined, fast-paced yet tranquil.
The Artist: Born in Florida and now residing in Dothan, Alabama, I have always had a love for art, but I truly discovered my passion for creating it in 2020. What began as an exploration of creativity quickly became a transformative journey, revealing my true calling as an artist.
I specialize in abstract art, finding joy and freedom in the process of letting go and allowing my inner voice to guide me. Each piece I create is a reflection of raw emotion, unfiltered expression, and the beauty of unpredictability. For me, art is not just about the finished work—it’s about the story it tells and the journey it takes to get there.
My relationship with God deeply inspires my work, guiding me in both my creative process and my life. Through painting, I find a profound sense of peace and purpose, and I strive to channel that divine inspiration into each piece I create.
As a wife of 25 years, a mother in a blended family, and a proud grandmother, my art is also influenced by the vibrant dynamics of family life and the inspiration I draw from the world around me.
Through my work, I invite others to see the beauty in spontaneity, the power of faith, and the joy of embracing the unknown.
